Rethinking Power Sector Reform in the Developing World

Rethinking Power Sector Reform is a multiyear initiative to refresh the policy debate in the power sector by presenting a comprehensive picture of the reform experiences in developing countries since the 1990s. We are grateful to have been a part of the team that put together the Cost Recovery chapter, which focuses on pricing issues, including tariff setting and subsidy design, in the context of achieving financial viability of the power sector.
