The Asian Development Bank (ADB) wanted to assess new electricity tariffs proposed by Solomon Power and identify issues facing the energy sector in the Solomon Islands.
Service Provided
DHInfrastructure reviewed a tariff study developed by Solomon Power's consultants and provided feedback to ADB and the Ministry of Finance on the quality of the study and the potential financial impacts of the proposed tariffs on Solomon Power and potential affordability impacts for customers. We also assessed the impact of the proposed tariffs on a new solar power plant planned for the Solomon Islands and identified areas for possible future ADB support.
