Assessing Urban Heating Options in Tajikistan

DHInfrastructure recently completed a project in collaboration with the World Bank to assess urban heating options in Tajikistan. The study includes an overview of the condition and performance of the urban heating sector and building stock, and an analysis of the heat supply and demand characteristics in the cities of Dushanbe and Khujand. It also recommends priority investment measures for residential and public buildings in Dushanbe and Khujand that the Government can implement in the short- to medium-term. The report, Keeping Warm: Urban Heating Options in Tajikistan – Summary Report has just been published by the World Bank.
