The Asian Development Bank (ADB) wanted to support the Government of Kazakhstan in studying tariff indexation methods and developing recommendations to improve the interaction between regulators and Subjects of Natural Monopolies (SNMs).
Service Provided
DHInfrastructure supported ADB and the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (CRNM) in sharing experience on the application of tariff indexation methods for electricity, heat, and water supply and sanitation services in the European Union, the United States, and around Asia. We developed recommendations for improving state regulation of SNMs through the introduction of new approaches to the tariff indexation mechanisms.
