DHInfrastructure recently completed a project with the World Bank on scaling up energy efficiency retrofits in residential and public buildings in Belarus. The study analyzed the potential energy savings that could be achieved for different types of residential and public buildings through various packages of energy-saving measures, and calculated associated investment needs. The study identified several financing and delivery models that could help Belarus implement the retrofits in the public and private buildings sectors. In addition, the study assessed the enabling environment for energy efficiency in Belarus and outlined areas for improvement. The complete report can be viewed here.
