DHInfrastructure is pleased to announce the publication of its collaboration with the World Bank on an Energy/Power Sector Issues Note for Uzbekistan. The energy sector in Uzbekistan faces the important challenge of ensuring the reliability and affordability in its power sector despite an emerging supply-demand gap and ageing power sector infrastructure. The World Bank hired DHInfrastructure to identify these challenges and recommend solutions to overcome them, as well as suggest a possible role for the World Bank in the sector.
